Video from Desert Trip
I finally got around to making a video from my recent desert trip. It took a while as I have been fighting with different NLEs (non-linear video editors).

After a fairly long week, hour wise, at work, and a slightly exhausting 18km long run, I came up with the genious idea to do a little bit of backcountry skiing. As there is basically no snow left in the front range, I headed to Fairplay with plans of skiing on Mt. Sherman, a 14er that is a few miles west of there.
I think I may actually be getting somewhere fitness wise!
This week's long run went very poorly. Due to travel plans, I ended up running on a section of the Colorado Trail at around 9000 feet. The run started off fairly well, but after six or seven kilometers, I started having major issues with being lightheaded, nauseous, and with stomach cramps. The remaining 7 kilometers were absolutely no fun and included way more walking than running.
I have wanted a 3d printer for many years. I've looked at the technology many times over the last 5 or so years but it has always been a bit more than I wanted to spend. Over the last year that has changes and this month, I finally took the plunge and purchased an Ender 5 by Creality. With a build volume of 220 x 220 x 300 mm it is one of the larger printers that can be had for under $500.
Much better milage this week. I still probably should have fit in a 4th day running, but I did do a half-marathon length run, so I'll give myself a bit of a break there.
